|Daran Francis, Lay Elder|
Daran began attending CBC in 1976 and became a member that same year with his family. His parents, Darrell and Roxana Francis, still attend. He is involved in many CBC ministries including Student ministries, serving communion, kitchen crew, & LifeGroups. He currently holds the office of Vice-president on the Elder Leadership Team.
He has been married to his bride, Paula, since 1989 and they have two sons, Drew and Ethan. Daran obtained his BS in Animal Science and MA in agriculture from Cal Poly, SLO. He later earned a Masters Degree in education administration, which he is using as Vice-principal at Valley Oaks Charter School. Daran is also a certified farrier and welder, and trains horses when he has time. The Francis crew enjoys ranching in the Granite Station and Glennville areas, hunting, and watching old western movies.
