VISION AND GOALS FOR KID'S MINISTRIES AT CALVARY BIBLE CHURCH

Our desire at Calvary Bible Church is to help children grow and develop into adults of "Godly Character and Biblical Integrity."  We seek to accomplish this with a 3-fold approach:

  • Creating programs and activities that attract kids and their families and present sound biblical teaching.
  • Help to promote a strong family life which includes fostering scriptural parenting skills.
  • Equip and train the Children's Ministries' Assistants to aid in the spiritual development of your children.

SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT

It is an honor and a privilege to work with you and your children.  We take this responsibility seriously and see to create a safe and secure environment. Our children’s area is surrounded by safety gates and all staff members & volunteers undergo background checks and safety training.

WELL-CHILD PROGRAM

Our goal is to provide a safe place for your kids to learn. We therefore encourage you to be aware of your child’s health.  If your child is suffering from a cold or flu or other communicable illness, please be respectful of others and do not bring them to any of our activities.  If your child becomes ill during a session, we will remove your child from the activity and locate you as quickly as possible to take him/her home.  If, after being at one of our activities, your child comes down with measles, mumps, chicken pox, fifths disease, lice, etc., PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY! No names will be used, but it is our responsibility to report the possible contagion to other parents and staff members.  We appreciate your help in maintaining a well-child program.

PARENT PARTICIPATION

We believe strongly that a child grows in their faith most effectively when parents are at the center of the process.  We encourage you to see what they are learning and to be a part of their faith journey.
