Knowing Him...
Our primary purpose as a church body is to grow in our knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's not about just knowing more about Him biblically and historically through studying the Scriptures and related materials. We are committed to know Him in a personal and experiential way by walking with Him in fellowship and serving Him in love. The apostle Paul put it this way in Philippians 3:10, "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death."
Making Him Known...
Having grown in our knowledge of Jesus Christ and patterning our lives after Him, it is our commitment to share that knowledge with others who haven't come to know Him yet. We do this through our personal lives and testimony, through the ministries of our local church, and through the many mission works that we support both locally and around the world. We constantly ask God for His power to accomplish this task even as the apostle Paul asked the saints in Ephesus to pray for him: "That I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel." (Ephesians 6:19)
