 Nursery (birth - 18 months) Room 211 Toddlers (18 to 24 months) Room 210
"Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Just as "Jesus loves the little children," Calvary Bible Church Nursery loves babies. Our nursery ministers to families by providing a safe, warm, fun environment, where babies are cradled in the love of the Lord. You can go to Sunday school and the worship service knowing that your baby is being loved and cared for. When you bring your little one to the nursery, our staff will put your child's name on their diaper bag, bottles, pacifier, etc. and will give you a vibrating pager to take with you. That way you're only a page away!
The safety of our babies is a top priority. Vigilant attention goes into keeping our facility safe for the little ones in our care. Toys, cribs and other furnishings are kept clean and in good repair. A "well baby" policy is in place to protect babies from the spread of colds and other illnesses. Our sitters are well-trained and many are CPR certified.
Safety is just the first part of the equation. Babies are welcomed into CBC Nursery by loving arms that will hold them, rock them and play with them. Our nurturing nursery staff carries the love of God to the tiniest of those who come to Calvary Bible Church.
CBC's Nursery is a lot of fun for babies. There are friends to meet and things to do. There is so much to explore, with plenty of toys and plenty of people who just love to play "Peek-a-Boo." Baby giggles are music to our ears.
Dedicating Babies to God
At Calvary Bible, many parents choose to publicly dedicate their children to the Lord during our morning worship services. This meaningful tradition is a time for the parents to dedicate themselves to be godly examples and to raise their child for God. This is also a time the church family promises to come alongside the family in nurturing the child in the ways of the Lord. Jesus Was Dedicated to the Lord. "Eight days later, when the baby was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel even before he was conceived. Then it was time for the purification offering, as required by the law of Moses after the birth of a child; so his parents took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord." Luke 2:21-22.
