Calvary Kids Ministry

At Calvary Bible Church, we believe that "kids count in the Kingdom of God." We seek to:

• Introduce children to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior
• Nurture children as they grow spiritually, emotionally and physically
• Partner with families in building solid Biblical foundations in the lives of children
• Equip children for a lifetime of walking daily with Christ

SUNDAY MORNINGS

During 8:55-10:10 Service

Little Kids’ Church (room 314) 3 years - kindergarten
Preschoolers and kindergarteners can enjoy Little Kids’ Church where they experience the joy of worshipping together and participate in fun Bible learning activities.

Sunday School for children (various rooms) 1st - 6th grade
Our Sunday School program offers age-level classes for elementary aged kids. In each class, dedicated teachers lead age-appropriate activities designed to introduce children to the love of God, help them understand how the Bible relates to their everyday lives, and challenge them to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

During 10:30-11:45 Service

Children's Classes (various rooms) 2 years - kindergarten
Our Sunday School program offers age-level classes for children from 2 years old through elementary age. In each class, dedicated teachers lead age-appropriate activities designed to introduce children to the love of God, help them understand how the Bible relates to their everyday lives, and challenge them to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Children's Church (room 313) 1st - 6th grade
1st through 6th graders are invited to join together for a Sunday morning worship service designed just for them. Our dedicated teachers integrate worship music, games, object lessons, an interactive DVD curriculum, and discussion questions.

Kids' Choir (room 325) 1st - 6th Grade
Kids' Choir is lots of fun for kids in 1st through 6th grade, with or without musical experience. They rehearse on Sunday mornings at 10:30 from September through May and put on exciting Christmas and Spring programs. They also perform occasionally in Sunday morning services. Kids Choir is directed by Krista McCoy and Bekah Rogers.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING

On Sunday nights during the school year, we have an outstanding AWANA Truth and Training program for children ages 3 years through sixth grade. AWANA is a club for boys and girls that teaches them to memorize scripture from their handbooks, play games during game time, and have fun with friends.

We also have an AWANA JV program for Junior High students and Journey 24/7 for Senior High students that meets at 4:00 p.m. See Student Ministries for more information.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Nursery and Childcare (various rooms) infant through 2 years old

Lil’ K (room 314) 3 years - kindergarten

KIDMO Program (room 313) 1st - 6th Grade

CLUB 56 - Designed especially for 5th and 6th graders, in addition to meeting during the 8:55 Service, Club 56 holds various events throughout the year to provide opportunities for learning, discipleship, service, and fun. (room 316)

Kids' E.E. (Evangelism Explosion) Evangelism training class for kids 4th grade and up. Offered periodically on Sunday mornings for children who are interested. Watch the weekly bulletin or monthly newsletter for details.

Children's Baptism Class - This 3-part class is offered quarterly for children 2nd grade and older and meets on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 Service. After the class, children decide with their parents and teachers if they are ready to be baptized. Children are required to attend all three classes. Watch the weekly bulletin for class dates.
